Our Angel!

We Love Aunt Virginia!
And of course Aidan, Chloe and Harris too!!

We interrupt this blog for a day off!!!

That's right! We went "kid-free" this weekend from Saturday Morning to Sunday Afternoon!! All thanks to an angel we know named Virginia. She amazingly took on two additional children this weekend and did it all with a smile on her face and a relaxed attitude. We were very impressed and will be forever in her debt.
THANKS SOOO MUCH VIRGINIA!!! YOU ROCK!!!!!!!!

Jack climbing!!

Here's where he started!

Here's where he ended up!!

I left Jack at the bottom of that climb and without ANY assistance from me, he pulled and wiggled and squirmed himself up each and every step and eventually stood atop the slide victorious and acting very nonchalant about it.

Oh boy, we'll have to keep an eye on him!

Surrey ride on Governor's Island

Carla and Jasper joined us for a surrey ride on Governor's Island this Sunday. A short ferry ride to an island in the middle of NY Harbor and you are transported to a bucolic time and place. Ahhhh.....

Water Sculpture and the artist

Eli loves to build water sculptures in the sink. I should have been documenting all along, so you can see his progress. This one he was very proud of because of all the "waterfalls" it created.

Eli in the red chair

Just a couple of sweet photos we wanted to share.
