I left Jack at the bottom of that climb and without ANY assistance from me, he pulled and wiggled and squirmed himself up each and every step and eventually stood atop the slide victorious and acting very nonchalant about it.

Oh boy, we'll have to keep an eye on him!

Surrey ride on Governor's Island

Carla and Jasper joined us for a surrey ride on Governor's Island this Sunday. A short ferry ride to an island in the middle of NY Harbor and you are transported to a bucolic time and place. Ahhhh.....

Water Sculpture and the artist

Eli loves to build water sculptures in the sink. I should have been documenting all along, so you can see his progress. This one he was very proud of because of all the "waterfalls" it created.
